Ice Cup International in Iceland
Now, how’s this for a different type of golf tournament? Play golf at midnight in Iceland!
Ice Cup International will be held in Iceland, June 23th – 25th, 2011.
Type of play: fourball.
We are looking for groops of four, eight or twelve to represent their respective countries in this International Tournament. Maximum handicap, gentlemen 28 and ladies 36.
This offer includes two rounds of golf. Warming up round in the morning of June 24 at Golf Club Kidjaberg and the tournament itself.
Tournament day is June 25 at Golf Club Oddur. The tournament will start at 20:00 (8 p.m.) and will be played into the midnight sun and finish at one in the morning. Dinner at Club house after Tournament.
Itinerary:
Arrival date is June 23. USA flights arrive at around 6.00 in the morning while European flights arrive around 15.00 in the afternoon.
Warm up golf round on June 24.
Midnight Ice Cup International Tournament on June 25.
Departure for USA on June 26 in the afternoon while the European flights are early in the morning.
