There are a variety of different tuition classes available at this excellent golf academy designed to help golfers improve their game classes are for beginners to improvers and take place over 1,2 to 5 days dependant on your requirements.

For the more advanced golfers who want to focus on a particular area of their game, there are both short game and swing training sessions available focusing on strategy, chipping, putting and bunker shots.

Le Meridien Penina Golf & Resort

On the resort at Penina you will find and high sought after Golf Academy offering excellent facilities from driving range, practice and putting facilities accompanied by a 9 hole par 3 Academy course.

These are tailored to suit the needs of players of all abilities the five day courses are run in groups of no more than 6 golfers to one teaching professional. As per of the academy fee you will also benefit from;

La Quinta Golf Academy

The La Quinta Golf Academy headed by Manolo Pinero was founded in 1990 offering golf lessons to all levels of golfers for both parties and individuals. The personalized lessons are tailored to the individual needs of the pupil and the professional assistance on offer for the beginners (players without an official handicap) to advanced golfers ranging from 5 day courses, weekend courses or private lessons will ensure that you get the most out of the Academy.

Alhaurin Golf School

The Alhaurin Golf School’s has some excellent amenities including an extensive driving range, an 18 hole putting green, 9 hole chipping green and two par three courses, giving a total of 27 holes. It is a haven for golfers looking to develop their game with the resort offering great value for money 7 night hotel with 5 days tuition packages available for all standards.

Atalaya Golf School

The Atalaya Golf School operates year round weekend and weekly golf clinics with PGAE registered professionals for guests staying at the Atalaya Park Hotel aimed at novices. In addition to the excellent tuition golfers can also take advantage of tuition with video analysis ensuring the swing can be dissected ensuring that all of the right adjustments are made.

La Manga Club Academy of Golf

Renowned for being one of the best equipped golf academies in Europe, the La Manga Club Academy of golf offers you a wide variety of sessions using their superb practice facilities, high-tech stoke analysis overlooked by their experienced and friendly golf professionals. The academy caters of for all levels of golfers whether you are beginner, intermediate or advanced they will tailor a programme to suit your needs built around the five mornings of instruction by their PGA-qualified golf professionals.

The five-day academies at La Manga Club will help improve every aspect of your game, from basic skills, tips and match play tactics to golf etiquette and club management. The Academy takes place Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 12:00, golfers requiring private lessons are available from 12:00.

Academy Facilities
La Manga Club’s highly successful Academy of Golf has been designed with the latest computerised and digital coaching technology designed not only to meet golfers’ tuition needs but also to provide a lively social hub for all and relax in the comfortable surroundings.

There are also two indoor teaching studios with computer analysis, 21 outdoor tees for the exclusive use of Academy students (apart from the main, 60-bay driving range) and a Callaway Fitting Centre where clients will receive expert assessment on their golfing equipment needs.

Coaching Technology
La Manga Club Academy of Golf has recently been equipped with the revolutionary Explanar swing training system. This is a complete training system based around the fundamental principles of the swing plane and the biomechanics of the body, promoting the ideal movements required for the golf swing. The facility is suitable for all golfers of all levels and works equally well for both left and right handers between 5ft and 6ft 6 inches tall.

In addition the swing training system, the academy also features the V1 computerised video analysis system, which, under the expert guidance of their teaching professionals will give you a new insight into your game and help you correct those irritating faults.

Practice Facilities
Located beside the La Manga Golf Clubhouse, their training and practice facilities are second to none and provide a comprehensive short-game facility including:

• An 80-bay, floodlit driving range, complete with target greens
• A large practice bunker
• Two chipping greens
• A large putting green
• Practice balls are dispensed from machines at the driving range. Cards for these may be purchased at Golf Administration or you can pay by credit card directly at the machine
• An 18-hole, Par 47, pitch & putt course (located near the Tennis Centre). This picturesque course comes complete with bunkers and water hazards, offering ideal practice after the morning class.
