The Home of Golf, St Andrews, will host the 139th Open Golf Championship 2010 which will celebrate its 150th anniversary, making it a very special occassion for the host.
The Open Championship is a special tournament but in St Andrews there is always a certain amount of excitement when you consider golf`s great champions who have lifted the famous claret jug on the 18th green.
In 2010, Tiger Woods will return to St Andrews to defend his past championship that he won before the siege of Padraig Harrington halted the American`s run of Open wins.
