In 2012, the British Open will be played for the 11th time at Royal Lytham & St Annes
The golf course was designed by the world-renowned architect Donald Steel, and the proximity of the sea and Óbidos lagoon afford hotel residents fantastic views of the natural beauty that surrounds.
It’s one of the toughest links courses in the UK and home to the 2011 Open Championships. Have you got what it takes to play Royal St George’s?

Clovelly
Clovelly is one of the most frequently visited courses in Cape Town and was designed by Dr Charles Molteno Murray in 1934. Even though the amount of rounds is high, the course is consistently in good condition and the greens are respected around the world. It is situated about 50 minutes from Cape Town. Set in the tranquil Clovelly valley, this relatively short layout, built among sand dunes, rewards accuracy off the tee and provides players with scenic views of the False Bay coastline. Known for its superb greens. There are quite a few tight holes on the course, but one of the best is the par-4 fourth, with out-of bounds and a stream on the left, and a green guarded by a water hazard.
