Hi Tim,

Just to confirm that everything about the holiday was great. The Son Caliu Hotel was excellent with friendly staff, great breakfast and fantastic spa facilities especially after the golf to get rid of the aches and pains. Good location with plenty of local bars with excellent menus on average 15 euros for 3 course with wine and all spotless. No noisy Brit bars they were 20 minute walk into Palma Nova. Portals Nous only 20-30 minute walk to see how the other half live with the fantastic yachts and restaurants.

Regarding the golf all transport to and from the courses were on time, the furthest less than 30 minutes from the hotel. We played Son Vida which was good, a few dog legs so it wasn’t all drivers off the tee. Bendinat was equally as good with some really nice holes. Poniente unfortunately had been ravaged by the severe stores which shortened the course a bit. The last one we played was Son Termens which was worth it for for the views alone, also the quickest greens.

All the club houses were up to the Spanish standard which we have come to expect. We used buggy’s on all 4 course which cost 40 euros, Son Termens you definitely need one, Poniente is ok for walking, the other 2 depends how young you are. We did not experience any of the 6 hour mainland marathons. Regards

Hi Tim,

Just a few words to say that we are all back from our Golf trip safe and sound. The weekend was almost perfect, the flight check-ins went without a hitch, the flights were good with only the homeward flight being delayed by half an hour. The Hotel was very nice and in an area that was only a short walk to lots of Restaurants and Bars.

The transfers to and from the Airport and the Golf clubs were on time and nothing was too much trouble for the Drivers, we had to change the pick up times to and from the Golf clubs as they were a bit tight for starting and finishing but the Company were very accommodating and sorted it out without any fuss.The two Golf courses were very nice especially the course at Bendinat which was very challenging but well managed and in superb condition.

The trip to the Son Amar club on Saturday night was enjoyed by everybody in the group and we were amazed at the high standard of food and service that we got seeing that there were hundreds of people there. We are all looking forward to another trip next year. Thank you for all your help in arranging a very enjoyable weekend.

Just a quick e-mail to say how much we enjoyed our holiday. The golf was great and so was the Hotel. 10 days was a perfect time for our stay as we got to see all the sights and even rented a car for three days. Everything went as planned and we would be keen to hear if you have any similar packages for this time next year at other resorts. We were thinking about going to the USA in 2008 but quite happy to stay in Europe if the hoilday is as enjoyable as the one in Quinta da Marinha.

I recently booked a golf trip to Marrakech for 14 golfers of varying standards, and I have to say that the package the Golf Travel Club put together was perfect. Transportation to and from the golf courses, hotel, market, restaurants etc were faultless (these guys also give you an inside track as to what sights to see when you have downtime), the hotel Kenzi Farah ticked all the boxes and the golf courses (with caddies for a fiver) tolerated our highest handicappers!

We didn`t really know what to expect, Morocco was a new venue for most of us but I can strongly recommend it. Make sure you get involved at Le Comptoir on a Saturday night! The only negative would be that single-figure handicappers might find the courses a little unrewarding.

Every part of the trip was excellent, the transfers very good no waiting the hotel and meals very good. Golf good we did have a thunder storm at Vila Sol but that cleared up and we completed the round in sunshine. An excellent trip enjoyed by all hope to repeat next year. Thanks fo rall the help

Just got back from Turkey. We had a great time. Weather was great warm and sunny, not a drop of rain, the Sirene Golf Hotel was spacious with very helpful and polite staff, food very good and great location next to the beach, all worked out very well. The 5 golf courses were the best we have played, wonderfully maintained with terrific views, its a real golfers paradise! I would recommend anyone to try Turkey!
