Travel Insurance

It is imperative that you and all members of your party are adequately insured for the holiday, although you are not obliged to take our insurance, out team needs to be aware of the your insurance details so that we know you have the right cover.

We take note that many people have their own travel insurance policies through a variety of means however we strongly recommend that you check your cover as the type of cover offered by credit/debit cards do not cover cancellation, offer limited medical cover and do not always cover the loss of luggage or travel currency therefore it is imperative that you check your policy.

Our Travel Insurance covers you while running in a marathon as well cancellation cover due to sports injury in training It is a requirement when booking a holiday with Sports Tours International Ltd that you have cover equal to the cover provided in our Travel Insurance below & that you submit your alternative cover for inspection on request. Sports Tours International Ltd have arranged travel insurance, which is underwritten by Euclidian Underwriting Limited,Syndicate 1243 at Lloyd’s.

Summary of the cover is as follows – full details of cover & exclusions will be forwarded on request, and with your confirmation of booking. Personal luggage, effects, money and valuables £1250 per person (sub limits apply). Medical expenses Medical £2,500,000 per person. Cancellation or curtailment charges up to invoice value. Excesses apply, as do reduced child limits. Full details are given on your policy.

PREMIUMS
Important: When calculating the insurance costs you must take into account the full duration of your holiday – i.e. additional days for overnight flights.
