Make sure that all valuables are secure at all times, children are kept under a watchful eye and that you are comfortable in your surroundings.
Driving License
It is imperative that you take your driving license, all car rental companies require them as part of their conditions, if you travel without your license the car hire companies will be under no obligation to rent the car to you.
Transfers
For those not wanting to drive abroad, at many of our destinations we can organise priviate transfers for you, please request these at time of quotation.
Handicap Certificates
Please be are that all golf courses now require players to carry a handicap certificate or alternative proof of their playing ability, therefore it is the responsibility of each golfer to present the certificate to course officials upon arrival at the golf reception. In the unfortunate situation of a player being refused entry to the course as a result of improper documentation please note courses will not refund green fees.
Where I can obtain an Official Handicap Certificate?
Many of the courses will request to see a handicap certificate prior to you entering the course, although there may be occasions when you will not be checked, it is always better to carry one with you at all times. If you do not have enough time prior to departure to make the appropriate arrangements, then you should ask your local pro and club secretary to write a letter on official paper stating your playing ability or, if you are not a member of a club, contact Elite Golf Solutions who can, if necessary, provide a golf handicap by the following day.
Travel Documentation
Prior to your departure we will forward you all travel documentation usually around 10 days before your depart, if you book within 28 days of your holiday we will endeavour to send out all documents as your final itinerary has been confirmed.
Golf Club Carriage
Golf clubs are part of your package and the airlines are informed prior to your departure of the numbers of sets of golf clubs that you will be carrying. However there are some charter airlines that operate different procedures and we will endeavor to inform you of these prior to departure.
Golf Course Conditions
Due weather conditions abroad, which are beyond our control, we cannot be responsible for the playing conditions at the time and state of courses as a result. This will include internal course maintenance or increment weather conditions.
Local Golf Tax
Please note that some local golf clubs abroad will charge players a small tax fee for federation taxes and golf insurance. Please note that these taxes cannot be paid prior to your departure and therefore must be paid directly before you play the course.
Unused Golf Vouchers
Unused golf vouchers will only be refunded increment weather conditions or course closure prevents golfers from playing. In these circumstances it is imperative that we have written confirmation from the golf course or local representative before we can consider a refund.
Course / Tee Time Requests
We request your tee-time slots at the time of booking, once they have been noted and re-confirmed with you we will then contact the golf courses and request as close a match to your requests as possible, in return they will either offer the exact times or provide the most suitable alternative for your party.
Please note that all golf requests are dependant on whether the courses, dates, tee-times are available at the time of request, we cannot guarantee to meet your requests but do our best to match them.
Confirmation of Course / Tee-Times
Once the tee-times have been confirmed we will send out written confirmation (or invoice) detailing dates, courses, times and number of players we ask that you check the information carefully and inform us of any discrepancies upon receipt.
There will be times when courses that you have chosen for your holiday will not be in a position to confirm start times until much nearer the time of departure.
The courses will delay for several reasons; they may have commitment to their members, group bookings or competitions. In these circumstances we will not be in a position to re-confirm your tee-times until a later date.
We do understand that this will raise concerns amongst your party of not having your times confirmed, but rest assured we will ensure that you are well looked after prior to your departure and by our experienced representatives at your destination.
