Flights
Getting to your destination
In order to ensure that your golf holiday gets off to a flying start it is imperative that you choose the best flight the best suits your needs and holiday itinerary, we can arrange flights from all UK airports at very competitive prices.
Our reservations team will search through a host of airlines ranging from scheduled, charter and low cost airlines all you have to do is let us know your travel dates, from where, and the duration of your stay, on return you will be given the best available deal for your holiday, the flight price quoted will include all airport and APD (Air Passenger Duty) taxes.
Low Cost Airlines
The majority of our European destinations are now served by ‘low cost carriers’ such as EasyJet, Ryanair, Jet2, BMI Baby, Monarch and others that all provided competitive low fares. Our team will be more than happy to source these flights of the web based carriers in order to provide you with the best priced flight option available.
Luggage Allowance
The standard luggage allowance for the majority of flights unless specified is 20kg per person, this will be confirmed on your airline tickets. Please note that some airlines may include golf club carriage within this limit, you will be advised of the above at the time of booking.
Flight Timings
For all flights booked schedules are given at the time of booking, please take note that these are always provisional and may be subject to change by the airline prior to departure. Airlines will notify us of any schedule changes as soon as they have them available, however all final schedules will be confirmed on your tickets to be included with your travel documentation.
Conditions of Carriage
The conditions of carriage of the airline providing your flight will apply to your booking, some of these may limit the airlines responsibility to you. Cancellation and amendment charges may well fall outside those listed in our booking conditions (see relevant page). Should you require further details regarding the particular carriers conditions then please contact us.
Seats & Meals
It is worth noting that the majority of charter airlines are now charging for in-flight hospitality such as meals and drinks, please make your requests at the time of booking. If you require any special dietary requirements and wheelchair assistance, please inform us at the time of booking and we’ll do our best to ensure to arrange it with the airline. Some airlines now offer the facility to pre-book seats, extra leg-room at an additional charge, again please ask for more information at the time of booking.
Golf Club Carriage
For those that travel frequently on golf holidays, it has become apparent that although the flight prices are low, airlines are charging for the carriage of golf clubs. These charges vary between the airlines, some allow pre-booking others use discretion on the day subject to luggage load. We will advise you on the rules of carriage that we have available for the particular airline you are travelling with at the time of booking.
Airline Conditions
Most flight tickets have restrictions that cover cancellations, changing the date of travel, routes or the names of travellers. It is important to realise that when you book an airline ticket there is no cooling off period. At best you will lose any deposit that you have paid for the flight or at worse; the whole ticket cost may be non-refundable, they are imposed on the purchaser by the airlines.
It is not possible for Tour Operators to change or override the regulations or ticket rules governing your ticket type, so it is essential that you book the correct flights at the out set.
